Summary

The Risk Management Professional (RMP) certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) validates a professional’s expertise in
identifying and assessing project risks and developing risk mitigation strategies. The RMP certification process includes an exam, experience
requirements, and education/training requirements. The exam covers five domains risk strategy and planning, stakeholder engagement, risk process facilitation, risk monitoring and reporting, and performing specialized risk analyses. RMP certified professionals are equipped with the skills and knowledge to identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and communicate risk management strategies to stakeholders.
