The Hospitality Management concentration will develop a focus on the kills and competencies in the field of hospitality with an emphasis on the importance of sustainability. In line with the hospitality sector and business environment in the Gulf. Through its specialized courses among students, the concentration will focus on the knowledge about various aspects of hospitality such as hotel business, restaurant, entertainment, attractions, clubs, meetings, conventions, exhibitions and events. The hospitality concentration has a practical focus and it was designed to provide graduates with the necessary skills for managerial roles in the hospitality industry that will better serve the society.
Graduates of this concentration will be able to develop competencies to work in a multicultural environment and contribute to the dynamic and growing hospitality sector in the UAE. Graduates will be able to work in hotels, tourism and event management.
In addition to the general and core courses, students will study the following compulsory and elective courses Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Management, Housing management, Hospitality Marketing, Food and Beverage Department, Development of hospitality facilities, Sustainability in hospitality, Event management, Legal aspects of the hospitality industry, Financial accounting for hospitality organizations, consumer’s behaviour, and E-Marketing.
